Day 1

Travel to your overnight in Effingham, Illinois.

Day 2

Once arriving in Arkansas, officially called The Natural State, visit the famous Wal-Mart Visitor's Center in Bentonville, AR. This museum is an interactive exhibit gallery that takes you on a fascinating tour of Wal-Mart's history. Overnight in Bentonville.

Day 3

Depart for Fort Smith, recognized as a, "Top Ten True Western Town," by True West magazine. Stop at Miss Laura's Visitor's Center, the only former bordello on the National Register of Historic Places, which has been fully restored to its original grandeur. Enjoy a tour and High Tea lunch at the historic Clayton House, built in 1882 before a driving tour of Fort Smith. Tour the Fort Smith National Historic Site, which includes Belle Point (site of First Fort Smith), Trail of Tears Overlook, Commissary, Fort Smith Gallows & Second Fort Smith Grounds, and Visitor Center - Historic Barracks, Courthouse, and Jail Buildings. Your overnight is at the famous Lodge at Mount Magazine, one of the finest Arkansas lodges and offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the state.

Day 4

Travel to Hot Springs and visit the restored Fordyce Bathhouse, the Visitor's Center for Hot Springs National Park. Exhibits and films orient visitors to Hot Springs and tell the story of thermal water bathing. Stop at the Gangster Museum of America, which is a historic and entertaining account of how some of the most notorious criminals in America co-existed with the quaint population of this little valley town in the mountains of central Arkansas. The next two nights will be spent in Little Rock.

Day 5

Enjoy a guided city sightseeing tour of Little Rock: drive by the Arkansas Governor's Mansion, the Old Mill, featured in the opening credits of Gone with the Wind, and Historic Quapaw Quarters, where you will get a glimpse of the Ville Marre seen in the opening credits of the TV?show Designing Women. Visit and enjoy a guided tour of the Clinton Presidential Library. Take in a show and a scrumptious buffet at Murry's Dinner Playhouse this evening.

Travel to Sikeston, MO to experience "The Only Home of Throwed Rolls" - Lambert's Cafe. Overnight in Evansville, IN.
