Day 1

Join Lenzner's historian Kevin Green for a fabulous tour to New York, Massachusetts, and Vermont to explore the battlefields of the Revolutionary War. Stop at Washington's Headquarters State Historic Site in Newburgh, NY before your stay for two nights in the area.

Day 2

Visit and tour the United States Military Academy at West, Point, NY in the morning and afternoon. Lunch is included at The Historic Thayer Hotel at West Point.

Day 3

Depart for tour of Boston, highlighting the Freedom Trail, including Bunker Hill, USS Constitution, Visitor's Center, Boston Massacre Site, Old North Church, and the Paul Revere House.

Day 4

Head to where it all started on April 19, 1775: Lexington and Concord. Tour Minute Man National Historic Park, taking in the Visitor's Center, the film The Road to Revolution, the Jacob Whittemore House, Hartwell Tavern, the North Bridge and much more!

Day 5

Travel to Bennington, VT to experience the Battle of Bennington, considered to be the turning point in the war. Next, explore the Hubberton Battlefield, Visitor's Center, and the museum. Stay two nights in Rutland, VT.

Day 6

Spend the day at Fort Ticonderoga, NY. The Battle of Fort Ticonderoga was the first American victory of the war. See Mount Defiance, which overlooks Lake Champlain and provides one of the most spectacular views in the northeast.

Day 7

Visit Saratoga National Battlefield Historical Park, which commemorates the site of the Battle of Saratoga, where the emerging United States fought for its first victory against the British. See Neilson Farm, Barber Wheatfield, Balcarres Redoubt, Schuyler House and Monument, Victory Wood and much more! Overnight in Albany, NY.

Explore the Oriskany Battlefield State Historic Site this morning. The Oriskany Battle was considered one of the bloodiest battles of the war. Overnight in Rome, NY.

Board the coach for your return home to the Pittsburgh area.
