Day 1
Day 1: Travel through the colorful hills of Pennsylvania on your way to Connecticut for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Arrive at the Prudential Center, in the heart of Boston. Experience Eataly a unique combination of restaurants, café’s, counters and markets all under one roof, where you can purchase a wide variety of Italian delicacies (wine, pasta, cheese, meats, produce, pastries, chocolates and gelato) as well as kitchen items and gifts! Other restaurants available in the Prudential Center for lunch on own.
Motorcoach tour, with local guide, past sites of local interest on your way to Seaport. Relive the Boston Tea Party of 1773 at the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. Climb aboard a tall ship and participate in the rebellion against "taxation without representation" as you throw crates of tea into Boston Harbor! This is a fully guided tour lead by historical characters and includes the film "Let It Begin Here". (Participants must be able to walk stairs and ramps to boats).
Enjoy dinner and a night of colonial merrymaking at Tavern Night at the Boston Tea Party Ships! Join Samuel Adams, John Hancock and prominent Bostonians as they lift their glasses in celebration, raise their voices in song and determine the fate of Colonial America!

Day 3
Admission to the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum. View the introductory film on Kennedy’s early years and political life, and enjoy a self-guided tour of the museum’s exhibits. Enjoy the café, gift shop, and spectacular ocean views! Free time for lunch on your own at Quincy Market, Boston’s #1 tourist attraction! Experience the shops, restaurants, and pushcarts at leisure.
Relax and enjoy a driving tour of Boston that features the Freedom Trail and Boston’s neighborhoods. Tour past the following sites: Boston Common - the oldest public park in the country; the Old State House where the Declaration of Independence was first read to the citizens of Boston; the U.S.S. Constitution - "Old Ironsides"; the Bunker Hill Monument marking the site of the first battle of the Revolution. Walk to the Old North Church where two lanterns were hung to signal the British approach by sea. You will also see Boston's unique neighborhoods: the Victorian townhouses and chic shopping in Back Bay; the gas lit cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill; the North End- "Little Italy", and more!
Dinner is included at the Chart House Restaurant, housed in the beautifully maintained building that was once John Hancock’s Counting House. (Walking up stairs required).
Relax on a fully narrated, 90-minute sunset cruise of Boston Harbor. Enjoy the history, sights and lore and witness the USS Constitution's sunset ritual as she fires her cannon and lowers her flag, ceremoniously signaling the day's end!
Day 4
Day 4: Enjoy a guided walking tour of historic Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox since it opened in 1912, and the oldest Major League Baseball stadium in use! See the Press Box and the luxury suites and the infamous "Green Monster". Hear about the "Curse of the Bambino" and see where Ted William’s longest hit landed! Free time at the Red Sox gift shop. Tour through Cambridge (see M.I.T. and Harvard University) and on to historic Lexington and Concord, where the Revolutionary War began and where American Literary History was shaped during more peaceful times. Tour past Lexington Battle Green and Buckman Tavern where 77 patriots bravely faced 800 British Soldiers as they marched toward Concord - you will trace their path on Battle Road. Learn about the fateful day when colonists fired the "shot heard ‘round the world". You will also drive past the homes of America’s most influential philosophers and writers: Louisa May Alcott, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau.
Free time in the charming village of Concord. Enjoy the small shops and boutiques, and enjoy lunch on your own.
Admission to the Orchard House, home of the Alcott family where Louisa May Alcott wrote and set her beloved classic Little Women.
Overnight in Connecticut.
Day 5
Day 5: Your journey home will be filled with many fond memories of Boston.

Multi-Day Cancellation and Refund Policy: 30 - 45 days prior to departure - Full refund (deposit is non-refundable) less any non-refundable charges (i.e. theater tickets, hotel rooms, service fees, etc.) unless notification of difference is noted on tour description.

Walking code: 4 - This tour requires a heavy amount of walking. To truly experience the program and destination, you need to be able to participate in physical activities such as long walking tours, walking over uneven terrain, climbing stairs and periods of standing. Some of the touring days may be longer, with select included activities occurring later in the evening.
Insurance: Travel Insurance is optional. To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within 15 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit and for the prepaid non-refundable payments or deposits. If purchased, the insurance premium is refundable during the 15 day review period, unless you have filed a claim or departed on your trip.
